    Young voters want nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans, and I don’t blame them

    A Quinnipiac poll found that just 29 percent of voters approve of the plan, while 53 percent disapprove. Similarly, a Gallup poll showed 29 percent of Americans favoring the tax cut and 56 percent disapproving. Although support for the tax cut isn't that much lower than it was for Ronald Reagan's tax reform in 1986, Gallup noted, the opposition is much bigger and much more engaged.
