FILE - In this Jan. 27, 2013 file photo, firefighters work to douse a fire at the Kiss Club in Santa Maria city, Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. Relatives of the victims of the nightclub fire that earlier this year killed 242 people in southern Brazil, said on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 that little has been done to improve the safety of public gathering places since the tragedy. Self-defense groups started to spring up in February to fight back the Knights Templar drug cartel which is extorting protection payments from cattlemen and lime growers, butchers and even marijuana growers. In this Tuesday, May 21, 2013 photo, Congolese fleeing fighting sit with their belongings outside the entrance to a military base in Munigi, on the outskirts of Goma, Congo. M23 rebels fired two rockets into the eastern Congo city of Goma Wednesday, killing one person and wounding four, officials said, in an apparent spillover from three days of fighting raging north of the city. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon arrived in Congo's capital far to the west for a two-day visit expected to take him to Goma, where a new U.N. military brigade is being formed to attack rebel groups and bring stability to the mineral-rich region.(AP Photo/Alain Wandimoyi)

This computerized tomography provided by the Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology in Gliwice, Poland, shows the skull of a 33-year-old Polish man after it was damaged in a work accident, right, alongside the healthy skull of another person. Polish doctors performed a total face transplant on the man on May 15 in a 27-hour operation. In a news conference on Wednesday they said it was the first time a life-saving face transplant was carried out soon after a recipient suffered damage. There have been several other transplants worldwide in recent years but in those cases doctors had months or years to prepare. The Polish patient suffered his accident on April 23, 2013.(AP Photo/Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology in Gliwice)
