The ubiquitous chant, “Let’s go Brandon,” has now reached unparalleled heights and controversy after it began trending on Twitter and a Southwest Airlines pilot allegedly spoke the phrase over a plane’s PA system to passengers. As Doug McKelway reports, loud protests from the Left over that incident, and use of the phrase in general, appear to reflect a short memory of anti-presidential taunts.
