Critical race theory: What to tell the children

As the pandemic is ending and life is beginning its return to normalcy, school boards across the United States are facing a rude awakening this Spring. A grassroots movement is building that’s forcing school boards and superintendents to reexamine curricula that include critical race theory. That theory has been around for decades, a descendant of ’60s radicalism. While it may have taken root on college campuses, a growing army of secondary school parents and teachers is resisting critical race theory and what many believe is its “racist indoctrination” of their children.
