Former Vice President Joe Biden, who continues to maintain his wide lead in the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination race, holds an even bigger 2-to-1 lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders in early primary states, according to the latest survey on the race.
Among Democratic voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada, Biden leads Vermont’s Sanders 42%-20%, according to Morning Consult.

Nationally, he leads Sanders 38% to 20%, said the polling outfit.
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg are battling for third both nationally and in the early primary and caucus states.
The survey is based on interviews with 16,368 registered voters planning to vote in a Democratic primary or caucus, said Morning Consult.
The outfit plans to release its “Political Intelligence: The State Of The Democratic Primary” every Monday.
In its latest survey, it found that Biden was tops in favorability, at 76%, followed by Sanders at 74%.
