The battle hasn’t been pretty, but as the country pulls out of the deadly COVID-19 crisis, the leader of the White House Coronavirus Task Force isn’t hesitant about heralding the fight in his reelection bid with President Trump.
“I’d be proud to run for reelection on President Trump’s record dealing with the coronavirus pandemic,” Vice President Mike Pence told us. What’s more, he said that the economy appears eager to get back to business and create jobs, something they can take credit for.
“I think, going into this fall, the American people know President Trump knows what it takes to create jobs in this country,” he added. …

- The Pew Research Center dished some bad news to the GOP when it revealed the latest political leanings of the nation. Once about 50-50 Democrat-Republican, when the leanings of independents are factored in, it’s now 49% Democrat and 44% Republican. …
- Business people with coronavirus antibodies may be the first to travel internationally, according to White House virus expert Dr. Deborah Birx. On a Zoom call with the German Marshall Fund, she said that “3% to 5% to 10%” have the antibodies and that companies should tap them as the “leaders” to begin traveling first. The rest, she added, should stay on Zoom.
