Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is speaking in Eagle Pass, Texas, as part of a major policy announcement for his 2024 presidential campaign.
DeSantis is expected to speak at 10 a.m. EDT from the town on the U.S.-Mexico border. Border security has received increased attention in recent months after the pandemic-era Title 42 rapid expulsion policy expired in May.
