Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin will face off against the state’s Democratic Attorney General Andy Beshear in November’s general election.
Bevin, bolstered by support from President Trump, will compete against Beshear in the Republican-leaning state. The race will be closely watched because of Bevin’s low approval rating among voters in Kentucky, a state Trump won by nearly 30 points.
