A CIA official who filed a whistleblower complaint about President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky back in July wrote a memo about the conversation in question one day after it took place.
The memo, which was written on July 26, was based on a conversation the whistleblower had with a “White House official.” It alleged, which was later confirmed when the White House released a transcript, that Trump requested Zelensky investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. The memo preceded the official complaint the whistleblower filed.
