Car crash outside London’s Parliament treated as terrorism

Police arrested a man after his car hit and injured several pedestrians and cyclists, then crashed into a security barrier outside the House of Parliament in London early Tuesday.

“He was arrested on suspicion of terrorist offenses,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement. “At this stage, we are treating this as a terrorist incident.”
