Poll: Nearly two-thirds of Americans oppose DC statehood

A new poll released by Gallup shows almost two-thirds of Americans saying they oppose making Washington, D.C., a separate state.

In the poll released Monday, 64% of those polled said they oppose making D.C. a state, while only 29% favor it.
