President Trump thanked a supporter for comparing him to the “second coming of God” for Jews in Israel.
Newsmax TV host Wayne Allyn Root, said Tuesday that Trump has been the “greatest president for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world.”
“Not just America,” he continued, “Trump is the best president for Israel in the history of the world. And the Jewish people love him like he is the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God.”
Trump shared Root’s comments in a series of tweets of Wednesday, thanking him for the “very nice words.”

Trump is facing backlash for his criticism of American Jews who support Democrats. On Tuesday, Trump claimed Jewish people who vote for Democratic candidates were either ill-informed or disloyal.
“I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
