Rudy Giuliani said Thursday that if President Trump agrees to sit for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller, the longest he would sit for is 2 1/2 hours, since that’s how long President Clinton sat for a similar interview related to his impeachment.
“That’s the amount of time we would allow, only because that’s what Clinton got, he got only 2 1/2 hours,” Giuliani said on Fox News.
“They should be able to do this, if they have a case, in 2 1/2 hours.”

When asked if it’s bad optics for Trump to put parameters on a possible interview with Mueller, Giuliani said “tough luck.”
“If you do it for Clinton, I’m sorry, maybe they’d like to give us all the things Clinton got, like the memo written before the interview, like no under oath,” he said.
Giuliani also said it’s unfair for Trump to have to deal with Mueller given the lack of evidence that he colluded with Russia in any way to win the election, especially right when Trump is trying to prepare for a breakthrough negotiation with North Korea.
“And I’ve got to go there … and prepare for this silly deposition about a case in which he supposedly colluded with the Russians but there’s no evidence of that?” he asked.
“Everyone forgets that the basis for the case is dead. Sessions should stop in and close it, and say enough’s enough,” he added.
