California Gov. Gavin Newsom blames Trump for ‘culture of gun violence’ after Gilroy shooting

California Gov. Gavin Newsom accused President Trump of lacking “moral authority” in the aftermath of the shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

Newsom, a Democrat, said Monday that there’s a “culture of gun violence and machismo” in the United States and that Trump has done little to solve gun violence.
