Bruce Boudreau with some surprising lineup changes

Interesting lineup combinations for the Capitals against the Ducks tonight at Verizon Center. Rookie forward Cody Eakin – making his NHL debut – is on the second line at left wing with Marcus Johansson and Alex Semin. Meanwhile, veteran Mike Knuble is on the fourth line at right wing. The checking line of Jason Chimera–Brooks Laich–Joel Ward remains together. And the defensive pairings are different, too. Can’t remember the last time John Carlson and Karl Alzner were split up. Had heard that this might happen this morning – just didn’t think it would actually happen. Tomas Vokoun is in goal.
