Unexploded WWII bomb triggers evacuation in central London

One of the busiest areas of London was evacuated after an unexploded bomb from World War II was uncovered at a construction site.

London’s Metropolitan Police said a “suspected World War II ordnance” was found in Soho, a crowded district of the city packed with bars, restaurants, and shops. Police cordoned off multiple blocks and were seen moving people away from the area the suspected explosive was discovered.
