President Trump said Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s recent clash with members of the House Republican Caucus was caused by her support for “endless wars.”
“Liz Cheney is only upset because I have been actively getting our great and beautiful Country out of the ridiculous and costly Endless Wars,” Trump tweeted on Thursday morning. “I am also making our so-called allies pay tens of billions of dollars in delinquent military costs. They must, at least, treat us fairly!!!”

Cheney, who is the third-highest-ranking House Republican, had her loyalty to Trump questioned following a contentious meeting with other Republicans earlier this week following her disagreements with Trump on foreign policy and her vocal support for Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Trump loyalist, called for Cheney to resign from her leadership position earlier this week, tweeting, “House Republicans deserve better as our Conference Chair.”
Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, told Fox News on Wednesday that she believes House Republicans are “unified.”
