US tennis pro flees Russia after being placed in isolation by authorities following positive coronavirus test

A tennis player who contracted the coronavirus while staying in Russia ahead of a tournament fled the country after authorities placed him and his wife in isolation.

Organizers of the St. Petersburg Open said Sam Querrey and his wife left their hotel in the early morning Thursday, jettisoning from the city on a private plane.
