The FBI announced on Monday morning that they have a suspect in relation to the bombings that occurred in New York and New Jersey over the weekend.
Ahmad Khan Rahami is wanted for questioning. He’s 28-years-old and an American citizen who immigrated to the U.S. from Afghanistan. He lives in Elizabeth, N.J. near the site where five pipe bombs were discovered near the train tracks late Sunday night.
Pipe bombs and IEDs created out of pressure cookers were discovered at five sites in New York and New Jersey over the weekend, and there’s no indication whether they were the only ones planted by the suspect.
Rahami is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous, he is about 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Rahami has brown hair, brown eyes, and brown facial hair. There’s no knowledge as of yet if he has any connection to international terrorist organizations like ISIS. Anyone with information should contact the FBI.

CNN reported that the suspect is in custody after a shootout with police.
