Actor Bill Murray made a surprise visit to the White House on Friday.
Murray, in Washington to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor Sunday at the Kennedy Center, treated reporters still milling around the briefing room to some jokes after the daily news conference.

Murray was dressed in a Chicago Cubs hat and pullover jacket. The Cubs are up 3-2 in the National League Championship Series.
President Obama is a known Chicago White Sox fan.
