An anti-Donald Trump super PAC has released a new ad featuring women reading pejorative quotes from the Republican front-running presidential candidate about women.
Our Principles PAC’s video is reminiscent of the “mean tweets” segment made popular on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night television show. The ad’s quotes focus on women’s role in the family, women’s physical appearance, and Trump’s behavior toward women.
“I like kids, I mean, I won’t do anything to take care of them,” one women says quoting Trump. “I’ll supply funds and she’ll take care of the kids.”
“You know it really doesn’t matter what they write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of a–,” another woman says.
“Women, you have to treat them like s–t,” a woman says.
The super PAC behind the ad has taken direct aim at Trump for more than a month without much indication of putting a dent in the former reality television star. The group has grown amid the development of a #NeverTrump movement and recently added Tim Miller, former Jeb Bush communications director, to its ranks.
If the general electorate skews more female than the Republican primary, Trump’s poor polling with women could translate into a problem for his candidacy if he becomes the GOP presidential nominee.
