Scarborough working on ‘Trump: The Musical’

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough is working on a new project he’s dubbed “Trump: The Musical.”

The former Republican congressman was a Donald Trump superfan during the Republican primary, but later rejected the GOP nominee after Trump eliminated his Republican opponents. Scarborough, a former Florida congressman who enjoys playing music, gave GQ a sneak preview of his work in progress.

“It’s actually ‘Hamilton’ meets ‘The Book of Mormon’,” Scarborough told GQ.

Sample lyrics from the musical reportedly include:

“I’m just a simple man

Blessed with this orange tan

I’m simply titanic

Beloved by Hispanics and Jews

I’m huge

Losers don’t understand

The genius of my border plan

They call me a fool

Then they dare ridicule my huge hands.”

Scarborough has previously published a music video mocking “Amnesty Don” for being a “soft and flaccid man.” Trump and Scarborough have feuded on Twitter, a platform the GOP nominee has used to mock the MSNBC personality as a “clown.”
