Rachel Maddow was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Monday where she said Republican complaints about the CNBC debate were overblown.
The MSNBC host said that Republicans complained about the Fox News debate because of Megyn Kelly’s questions to Donald Trump, they disapproved of the CNN debate because it was three hours long and “too hot,” and were unhappy with the moderators of the CNBC debate.
“They like complaining about the process,” Maddow said.
She also voiced her disapproval of the “kids table” style debate with the bottom tier candidates.
“It all boils down to the fact that there’s too many of them,” she continued. “So there’s no easy way to do anything.”
Maddow said the reason none of the candidates are dropping out is because they’re looking at the front-runners like Donald Trump and Ben Carson, scratching their heads and saying, “that guy?”
She said that if some don’t drop out soon, future debates will be total anarchy.
