Jorge Ramos, Univision’s high-profile anchor famous for his confrontations with GOP nominee Donald Trump, said Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto was “weak” for not rebuking Trump at their joint press conference Wednesday for past insults flung at the Mexican people and his controversial proposal to have the country pay for the construction of a wall along the southern border.

“What a weak and shy response by Mexican president @epn. Trump leaves without giving an apology & won’t change at all his immigration plan,” the Mexican-American journalist tweeted after the two spoke to members of the media following a private meeting in Mexico City.
