Gov. hopeful gifted by Bono, O’Reilly staff

Oh, those pesky financial disclosure statements.

Looks as if Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate John Kasich has been taking gifts from opinion leaders on both sides of the aisle: U2 lead singer Bono and the staff of “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Kasich, a former Lehman Brothers director and Fox News commentator, mentioned meeting Bono in Chicago last year in his blog, the Associated Press reported. Kasich reported his gift from Bono because it was worth more than $75.

Among the 22 gifts the former congressman reported were gifts from the Cincinnati Reds and the Clintons.
