TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County police are ready to activate more speed cameras near schools, but technical issues have gotten in the way.

Starting Thursday, four more speed cameras were to be activated. They are at Loch Raven Academy on Goucher Boulevard; Seven Oaks Elementary in Perry Hall; Bais Yaakov in Owings Mills, and Winands Elementary in Randallstown.

But police said Thursday that technical issues prevented them from being activated. The cameras’ vendor is working to correction the problem.
