Tammy and Tristan Massie graduated from the University of Virginia in 2002, both were hired by the Food and Drug Administration, and now the live in their new home in Germantown, with their dog, Gilligan, and four cats.
Each also has a strenuous and somewhat unique hobby. For Tammy, it’s long-distance running. But she goes beyond traditional marathons, often running in 100-mile endurance races and traveling across the country to compete. For Tristan, it’s peak bagging, the sport of hiking, climbing, or crawling to the summit or high point of a mountain peak. – Ben Giles
