Texas Gov. Greg Abbott made an unprecedented move Friday night to show he stands with the five Dallas law enforcement officers killed and the seven wounded Thursday when a sniper opened fire on police at a peaceful protest.
Abbott posted a picture on Twitter of the governor’s mansion where he resides. The two-story southern-style plantation house has blue lights shining around all four sides.
It’s a simple, but striking commemoration of the men and women in blue.
