The Heritage Foundation released a new app for the iPhone, iPad, Droid, and Droid Tablets yesterday, an investment that the almost 40-year old think tanks believes will empower conservatives to spread their message into new venues.
Both Cato and Brookings already have apps for digital devices, but Heritage’s new product breaks new ground. The Heritage Foundation Todd Thurman explains:
Reached for comment, Heritage’s Center for Media and Public Policy Director Robert Bluey said, “Heritage Foundation Heritage strives to be on the cutting edge of technology and communication. That was the case when our think tank was founded in the 1970s and remains true today. We want to provide our research to the America people in the most user-friendly and accessible way possible.”
