CHESTERFIELD, Va. (AP) — Chesterfield County authorities say a man drowned in a reservoir as he swam back to shore because of an approaching storm.
Media outlets report that divers recovered body of 19-year-old Allen D. Brown from the Falling Creek Reservoir at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday.
Chesterfield Fire and EMS officials say Brown was swimming with a group of people when they saw the storm approaching. Brown went under water and didn’t resurface as the group returned to shore.
