Man stabbed in Southeast D.C.

A man was stabbed early this morning in Southeast D.C., police said.

Police received a call about a stabbing in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE about 3:10 a.m. and arrived to find an injured man in the lobby of an apartment building, D.C. police spokesman Officer Anthony Clay said. 

The victim was conscious and breathing and was taken to a hospital, Clay said.
