Who: Connecticut Department of Transportation
What: So far, 15 transportation projects are under contract and under way, at a total dollar value of $174 million. The department is slated to oversee a total of 33 projects with budgeted costs of $455 million under the stimulus package.
Why it’s an outrage: Six months after the stimulus has been passed, and only half of it has been contracted? So much for the fierce urgency of now.
