D.C. police investigate fatal hit-and-run

D.C. police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run incident in the Shaw neighborhood.

About 8 a.m. Sunday, police were called to an alley in the 1800 block of Sixth Street NW to investigate a report of a man down. D.C. firefighters responded and determined that the man was dead.

Police said had been struck and dragged by a vehicle, which fled the scene.

Police have identified the victim as 32-year-old John Young Kim of Berkeley, Calif.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099. Police offer a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to a conviction in a homicide.
