Famous figure skater Johnny Weir is coming to D.C. Thursday to usher in a weekend of pride for the GLBT community.
The skater, who officially came out of the closet in Janaury, will be making an appearance at the Macy’s at Metro Center at 5:30 p.m., appearing alongside some underwear models in the third floor men’s department. Weir will be chatting and signing copies of his book “Welcome to My World” — for a price. Those who want to meet Weir must buy $75 worth of stuff at the department store.
