A Fairfax defense contractor will create 300 to 500 technology-related jobs in Maryland over the next three years at a new facility in Belcamp.
ManTech International Corp. already employs 700 Marylanders among a worldwide workforce of about 9,000, according to ManTech chairman and CEO George J. Pederson.
Mantech’s new facility — which will roughly equal the size of a football field — is set to open in March near the Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground in northeast Maryland.
The project also will provide a number of construction jobs through Baltimore construction company, Manekin LLC.
