Prince William County police said Tuesday that they were worried an illegal immigrant from Honduras accused of raping an 8-year-old
girl would flee the country before they could take him into custody.
Marcos Danilo Reyes Banegas, 25, has been charged with rape, forcible sodomy, aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties for the alleged Monday incident in Woodbridge.
Banegas has ties to Woodbridge, Alexandria and Gaithersburg. He’s 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 154 pounds. He was driving a 2004
Pontiac Grand Am sedan with Maryland license plate 2DWK45, police said.
