Hillary Clinton is officially trolling for attention.
The Clinton Foundation sent around an e-mail early Tuesday morning from “Hillary Rodham Clinton” that arrived in inboxes with the title “Announcement.”
Unfortunately, Clinton — who said earlier this year that she would announce whether she will run for president in 2016 sometime after the New Year — was simply making an announcement about fundraising.
Specifically, the e-mail explained that Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton will triple every $1 donation that the Clinton Foundation receives before year’s end. Riveting.
Unsurprisingly, a lot of people were critical:

Not a good feeling: being on vacation and seeing this in the inbox. (It’s a Foundation $ plea.) pic.twitter.com/yvAVlHJVN7

And few others were … complimentary?
Oh, to see the look on reporters’ faces when they saw that “Announcement” email from @HillaryClinton this morning! Love her sense of humor!

I love how @HillaryClinton is trolling @ClintonFdn mailers with the “Announcement” subject line in her latest email

We already knew Hillary doesn’t have a sense of humor. Someone should tell her to stop reminding us.
According to the Washington Post, it’s now suspected that Clinton will wait until spring to make her big announcement — yes, an actual announcement — but she probably wants to squeeze in a few more $275k speeches before then.
