BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) — Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn says he plans to invest more in the state Department of Agriculture.

The Chicago Democrat is making a tough, nationally watched election bid against Republican Bruce Rauner (ROW’-nur) of Winnetka.
