After having toyed with the idea of playing the evil sorceress for awhile, Angelina Jolie will take to the screen in “Maleficent,” the live-action version of Disney’s classic, “Sleeping Beauty.” Production on the film will begin in June, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and could also star “Super 8’s” Elle Fanning as Aurora. The script for the film was written by Linda Woolverton and it will be directed by Robert Stromberg.
