Rick Perry’s mugshot has been turned into a marketing asset

Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s flawless mugshot taken this week after turning himself in to authorities has been printed on a budding line of products glamorizing his dubious indictment.

SABO, the man behind Unsavory Agents and a Breitbart California campaign that featured House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi twerking, released a faux Brooks Brothers poster that reads, “If looking good’s a crime, then baby I’m guilty.”

Perry’s own Super PAC incorporated the photo in a t-shirt that’s captioned on the front, WANTED (for securing the border and defeating Democrats). According to The Washington Post, the garb was being sold at an event in New Hampshire, and the pictures taken on the scene are any indication, it’s been a success:

The Texas Democratic Party has tried to get in on the action with a coffee mug designed around the mugshot, but even it concedes that the photo itself is top-notch.

“HAIR: GOOD,” one part of the mug, which lists Perry’s rap sheet, reads.

Lesson: No matter how hard you try to make Rick Perry look bad, it just ain’t gonna work.
