BEIJING (AP) — A moderate earthquake has struck southwest China, injuring about a dozen people and damaging thousands of houses.
The quake happened early Saturday in quake-prone Yingjiang county in Yunnan province near China’s border with Myanmar. The U.S. Geological Survey said it had a magnitude of 5.6.
