Violent crime is spiraling out of control in America’s cities. COVID-19 cases are significantly rising throughout the country. Inflation is on the rise. Illegal immigrants are crossing the border in record numbers. The Taliban took over Afghanistan in less time than it takes to binge-watch the latest Netflix release. President Joe Biden has been on the job less than seven months, but his “Build Back Better” platform turned into “Make America Worse Again” very quickly.
The most recent news about the Taliban conquering Afghanistan is an existential disaster for the Biden administration. Twenty years’ worth of foreign policy, soldiers who lost their lives, millions of dollars in spending, and it all evaporated in less than a week in August 2021. This comes after Biden declared no such thing would ever occur in July.
“The jury is still out. But the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely,” Biden said on July 8. Yet, that is precisely what happened. Biden either lied or was completely incompetent at his job. Neither scenario is good. If the president can be so disastrously wrong in his foreign policy assessments, how can he be trusted to lead the country for the next three years? If it turns out he was lying, then how can anyone believe anything he says going forward?
This comes on the heels of surging COVID-19 rates in the United States as the delta variant has caused havoc. This has led to a new order of mask mandates being implemented in cities across the country. While the science over wearing masks continues to be disputed, this is another example of Biden either lying to the public or being so incompetent he spread incorrect information. Biden said in May that “if you are fully vaccinated, you no longer have to wear a mask.” Except that turned out to not be true and less than two months after the president said so.
In this instance, yet again, Biden has proven to be unreliable as a president. He was either lying to the people, or he was so incompetent he is making awful decisions. It should be legitimately asked how many people died because of the information Biden gave to the public. It was during Trump’s presidency, and it was asked by Biden. Turnabout is fair play.
It should be pointed out that it was also Biden who said, regarding his predecessor and COVID-19, that former President Donald Trump was not responsible for the pandemic, but he was responsible for the failed response and lying to people in America.

Moreover, this is in addition to the border crisis that the Biden administration has denied existed since he took office. Biden halted the construction of the border wall as soon as he took office. Tens of thousands of illegal immigrants are being granted access to our country. Hundreds of thousands have been arrested. 178,000 illegal immigrants were arrested in June alone — a 20-year high for that month. This is despite the fact that Biden said the border situation was normal and “happens every single solitary year.” Once again, either Biden is lying or incompetent.
“Build Back Better” has had a disastrous start. If this is “America back,” as Biden likes to proclaim, then our country is facing a perilous future. The results that have transpired from Biden’s policies, so far, have been worse than anyone could have expected. An incompetent leader who is unreliable at best, and an untrustworthy liar at worst, Biden’s campaign slogan has done everything possible to make America worse again.
