Republican frontrunner Donald Trump appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Tuesday and received an apology from the television host.
“I also want to apologize to you,” Colbert said to the billionaire. “I’ve said a few things about you over the years that in polite company are perhaps unforgivable.”
“Almost,” Trump responded.
The reality star accepted Colbert’s apology and was asked if he had anyone he’d like to apologize to.
“No,” Trump said to some laughter and applause. “Maybe the audience,” he added.
They went on to discuss the need for a border wall and President Obama’s birth certificate.
