Chris Kelly, Facebook’s chief privacy officer, announced Wednesday that he’s considering running for attorney general of California and has formed an exploratory committee. The incumbent attorney general, Democrat Jerry Brown, is considering a campaign for governor in 2010. Kelly announced the formation of his exploratory committee on the same day San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris said she had been endorsed by three Silicon Valley officials.
