About 100 employees for Heineken USA are volunteering Wednesday to spruce up Marvin Gaye Park in Ward 7.
The do-gooding beer sellers will “construct a community vegetable and butterfly garden, lay the foundation for the Amphitheater Peace Garden, and participate in park clean-up and tree maintenance,” the company says.
The work is part of the company’s “Day of Giving.”
Ward 7 Councilwoman Yvette Alexander is scheduled to attend.
