The folks at Capitol Lounge are toasting the fact that the popular bar survived a fire six years ago by serving some spicy, fiery food this week. On Tuesday, the Capitol Hill institution will commemorate the 2005 fire‘s anniversary with a chicken wing-eating contest and wing specials all day long. The main event, which starts at 7 p.m., is the Lounge’s first ever Fire Breathing Wing Contest, which will pit 10 spicy-food-loving souls against each other to claim the title of Wing King or Queen. In addition, Cap Lounge will be serving 25 cent wings all day.
