Russell Brand is taking a time out from his feud with FOX’s Sean Hannity to make hilarious statements about MSNBC.
Brand is apparently so far out in left field that he considers the “Lean Forward” network to be “extremely conservative.”
“I think the reason that people say that the media is liberal is to preemptively prevent true liberalism emerging,” Brand said to Cenk Uygur on “The Young Turks.”
“I think if you say ‘oh the media is so liberal and pro-homosexuals and pro-lefties,’ then there is a kind of nervousness about promoting ideas of equality and unity and togetherness. The media is an extremely conservative institution. I’ve been on that MSNBC, it is an extremely conservative idea.”
He said the media thinks in a very small “circumference” and needs to be “more ambitious in what our understanding of change is.”
