Russia and Vladimir Putin were a big topic. Kaine said “Putin” 15 times, while Pence said it three times. “Russia” was said by Pence 22 times, while Kaine said it 18 times.
From Trump’s tax returns to tax reform, taxes were a big topic too. Kaine said “tax” in one way or another 26 time, while Pence said it 20 times.
But two of the most common words were the names at the top of the presidential tickets. “Clinton” was said by Pence 52 times, while Kaine said it 31 times. Kaine said “Trump” 59 times, while Pence said it 35 times.
