Who Heard It First?: Third crasher previously identified on local social blogs

So maybe the White House had known about White House crasher No. 3 for some time, but in the D.C. media the name Carlos Allen first was whispered among the Georgetown social set.

Local advice columnist “Miss A.” (or Andrea Rodgers) called out Allen as the third crasher Dec. 11 after discovering one of her bloggers had quoted Allen saying he attended the state dinner for a piece on AskMissA.com.

“I totally published it having a journalistic blonde moment and it totally didn’t phase me,” she told Yeas & Nays. “Lo and behold, on my very own blog we had posted that he had attended,” she continued.

Once the Salahis were exposed as crashers, rumors persisted there was a third crasher.

Q&A Cafe founder Carol Joynt, who also pens a blog, and Rodgers put two and two together that Allen wasn’t on the guest list. And now his name is all over the news.

Neither the Secret Service nor the White House have officially confirmed the identity of the crasher, and Allen, through his attorney, is denying the charge.
