Karger has a bone to pick with Florida because the Sunshine State moved its GOP primary from March up to January, creating chaos in the process, and benefiting only the boldest-face candidates, he explained. “Only [Mitt] Romney, no one else,” Karger said.
On Wednesday, he launched the website BoycottFloridaOrangeJuice.com. “If this works out and if Florida does move back, I’ll take the gamble, I could be a hero in this whole process,” Karger told Yeas & Nays. “I think it’s important to fight, it’s one of the things I’m known for.” So far, Florida’s GOP primary is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2012.
